Oregon Political Campaign Contribution Tax Credit
Oregon offers an income tax credit to Oregon tax filers who contribute to qualifying state, federal or local political campaigns. The total credit is limited to $100 on a joint return or $50 on a single or separate return. Please see Oregon Secretary of State for details.

Dawn signs "Patients Over Profits" pledge not to take contributions from PACs

April 13, 2026. 
As a OR Progressive Party Candidate for Governor, I signed the Patients Over Profits pledge, as introduced by National Nurses United and other health care advocacy organizations. This pledge states that a candidate or elected official will not take contributions over $200 from executives, lobbyists, and PACs affiliated with the hospital, insurance, and pharma corporations and instead pledge to put the health, well-being, and safety of their constituents over corporate health industry profits.  

While the pledge is centered on donations from the healthcare industry, my pledge is not to take contributions from any PAC or their executives, or lobbyists, healthcare or otherwise.

I strongly oppose the overwhelming influence of insurance and pharmaceutical industry corporate PACs, executives, and lobbyists on our political system, and I commit to standing with patients and communities, not corporate health care profiteers..
