I’m Dawn Regier, running for Governor of Oregon as the Oregon Progressive Party candidate because our state deserves leadership that puts people, land, water, and future generations ahead of corporate profit. Oregon isn’t a brand—it’s a living system, and climate change is already harming our communities through wildfires, toxic smoke, heat domes, floods, and collapsing ecosystems. Protecting the environment isn’t optional; it’s about public health, workers, Indigenous sovereignty, and whether our children inherit a livable world. As a Progressive and Green-aligned candidate, I believe the environment is a commons, frontline communities must come first, and real solutions require independence from fossil fuel and corporate money. As Governor, I will push for a rapid, just transition away from fossil fuels—stopping new fossil fuel infrastructure, holding polluters accountable, protecting old-growth forests, restoring wetlands, respecting Tribal stewardship, and investing in clean energy, public transit, local agriculture, and climate-resilient housing.
