I am running for Governor to help make Oregon the happiest place on earth.  My life experience has taught me something: government must work for people—not corporations, billionaires, or political insiders.

Oregon families are facing real challenges: ever rising housing costs, homelessness in our communities, healthcare that is too expensive, and an economy where working people struggle while wealth concentrates at the top. These problems are connected, and we need solutions that put people first.

One of my top priorities is creating a State Bank of Oregon. Right now, millions of dollars in interest payments leave our state for too-big-to-fail banks. A public bank would keep that money working here at home—supporting affordable housing, small businesses, clean energy projects, and community development across Oregon.

Healthcare should be a human right. I will work toward a single-payer healthcare system so every Oregonian can receive care without fear of medical debt.

Hard work should provide real security. Rise the minimum wage to $30 an hour, pass strong campaign finance reform to reduce the influence of big money, adopt a Millionaire’s Tax, and end the “kicker” rebate system that primarily benefits the wealthiest households.

We must dramatically expand housing supply. I will promote mobile and factory-built homes, which can provide high-quality housing faster and at lower cost for communities across the state.

I support enforcement of Measure 114 to address gun violence, rehabilitation-focused criminal justice reforms, expanded childcare and preschool for all, and strong protections for Oregon’s forests and natural resources.

Oregon can lead the nation by building an economy that works for everyone—urban and rural, working families and small businesses alike.

Together, we can create a future rooted in fairness, opportunity, and community well being.
